Assess:	Executive Summary The Executive Summary is a short document that highlights general areas of risk to your Production and makes strategic recommendations for Risk Management solutions. The Executive Summary will reflect costs associated with the implementation of these recommendations, or indicate when a detailed quote is needed. Risk Assessment The Risk Assessment identifies potential risks to your Production through a comprehensive process of analysis, and makes recommendations for their management. The Assessment, together with the implementation of our recommendations, has two central effects. It will significantly reduce the probability of encountering a safety or security-related incident, and it will minimize or eradicate your exposure to liability should an incident occur. The Risk Assessment report includes a summary of our recommendations and an indication of costs should you decide to implement these recommendations. Risk Assessment Review The Risk Assessment Review is a review by relevant experts of any Risk Assessment you have already produced internally, or that you have commissioned externally. It makes detailed recommendations for additional Risk Management measures where required, or adjustments to your own Assessment if its conclusions are insufficient to adequately protect you from risk. Site Survey The Site Survey is particularly valuable where there is a requirement for the engagement of security services, or where there are significant safety concerns on-location. Site Surveys are conducted by consultants qualified in security, Occupational Safety & Health, medicine or other specialization relevant to your Production plan.
Plan:	Global Scout Our unique Global Scout service reaches out to facilitators on a worldwide basis to give you visibility of production management services in any destination. Global Scout is available on a term subscription basis, or can be accessed for one-off productions. Travel Security Report The Travel Security Report sets out in detail your destination’s geo-political and medical profiles. It also highlights in considerable detail any security-related risks that may be encountered whilst on-location. In addition to being an exceptionally useful planning tool, the Travel Security Report is essential in securing the informed consent of your production staff when traveling to remote or potentially unstable destinations. Risk Management Plan Where the Risk Assessment makes detailed recommendations for the treatment of identified risks, the Risk Management Plan identifies the modalities by which those recommendations can be implemented. Crisis Response Plans Individual Crisis Response Plans, such as emergency medical evacuation, are usually contained in the Risk Management Plan. However, it is possible to order these on an individual basis with work being charged at an hourly rate. Existing Crisis Response Plans can also be reviewed and updated on the same basis.

Close Protection When filming in high-threat environments, or when talent with significant celebrity is on-location, you may need to engage a Close Protection Team (sometimes known as a Personal Security Detail). Whether the requirement is for one consultant in Hollywood or a fully armed Personal Security Detail in a hostile environment such as Afghanistan, GFS can provide capability at the cutting-edge of excellence. International SOS International SOS is the world’s leading provider of emergency medical evacuation services and remote medical advice. GFS offers subscription to International SOS’s services at special rates, and will always recommend subscription where your production is operating in geographically remote or high-risk areas. The rates for subscription vary with the term and numbers of people deployed. Mountain Specialists We can provide mountain guides, climbing instructors, rappel specialists and expedition leaders to ensure the safety of climbing and rigging activities. These personnel have high alpine experience in remote areas, including the Southern Alps and Swiss Alps. Others have expedition experience in the Himalayas. Background Checks GFS can arrange background checks for both Production personnel and cast to varying levels of diligence. These checks ensure that your personnel do not have a personal or criminal background that may expose you to employer liability in the event of an incident. Asset Protection Asset protection can be achieved in a number of ways, depending on the nature of the threat and the asset to be protected. GFS can provide both technical and human tracking capabilities, utilizing the latest technologies and consultants who have extensive experience in this specialized field. On-Location Medical Services When filming in remote areas, destinations that have a high Risk Rating, or when undertaking dynamic activities, your production may require direct medical support to be available on-location. Maritime Specialists We can provide maritime specialists with qualifications and experience UP TO ADVANCED INSTRUCTOR LEVEL in many water activities, including sailing, powerboating, jetskiing, scuba, freediving and kayaking. Travel Security Briefings Travel Security briefings are exceptionally useful in raising staff awareness of issues they should account for on location, and in securing their informed consent prior to travel. These briefings are usually provided at a location of your choosing. This may be at your offices or in a nearby hotel conference room. Global Watch Global Watch is a geo-political intelligence service that offers a 24/7 emergency response desk manned by professionals who are experts in crisis management. It will keep you informed of emerging security problems relevant to your Production, and help you coordinate the management of any issue from the loss of a passport to emergency evacuation of personnel during a political crisis. OSH Safety Officer GFS can provide a Safety Officer to liaise with service providers and local authorities, conduct location Risk Assessments and undertake an on-location audit of your Risk Management Plan. This ensures regulatory Occupational Safety & Health compliance and reduces the burden on Production Management. Hostile Environment Training These courses are seen as increasingly essential in the mitigating the risks of staff litigation, conformity with emerging statutory OSH requirements, and in securing the informed consent of personnel prior to travel. Courses can be provided at bespoke training establishments in Europe, the USA or Australia, or at a location of your own choosing. Expedition Logistics GFS staff members have production or Risk Management experience in more than 100 different countries around the world.
